------------------------------------------all of the astronauts, champagne and pass the cups, waitin' for the big hero to show aphrodite airily brushed her hair over her shoulder with one hand while she began her day in the vast city of the Capitol, enjoying the bright sun-shiny day that had begun ten hours ago at the stroke of midnight. She'd only woken up at nine in the morning, but we all must get up at absurd times before the Games even kick off, shops to be visited, designs to be made, Districts to overview with the help of cameras and a great deal of sleuthing (not to mention sneaky behavior). So far she had her finger very lightly pressed on District Four, they had some beautiful kids there and she would love to get her hands on them and make them look fabulous! And if Four was taken from her grasp, she could always try to style Twelve again…if those tributes weren't as stubborn as her first ones.
the blonde woman pressed the button on the elevator with one perfectly manicured finger and waited for the doors to slide open. Normally she was patient, but today she folded her arms over her chest; tapped her fingers against her arm; and tapped her foot feverishly. "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon…get up here already," she muttered, tossing her head and causing her aquamarine highlights to flash in the sunlight streaming in through the wall-height windows on either side of the elevator.
the elevator finally dinged three seconds later, making Aphie grin and unfold her arms with a satisfied glint in her eyes. "About time!"

walking along with a view bags, calypso couldn't help but feel a bit tired. this was her first time working for the games, and she had never realized how much work it would be. Pushing her brown hair back, she watched as the elevator opened and rushed to it, putting an arm out to keep it from closing. walking in, she held onto the bags, and looked over, almost gasping. "oh my god, your aphrodite grover! your one of my favorite stylists!" calypso said, but immediately covered her mouth, afraid if she offended the stylist.
laughing a bit nervously, she said quickly, "sorry, i'm just a huge fan. i'm a new stylist for the games and i always thought your tributes looked good." calypso looked down at her feet, glad in gladiator sandals, she looked more like she should be at the beach, rather than shopping. she had on a white tank top, with a black bikini top under it, along with matching black shorts, her hair tied up in a loose bun. Not quite what a super stylist would wear, but hey! she was still in the works!

------------------------------------------all of the astronauts, champagne and pass the cups, waitin' for the big hero to show aphrodite was at first taken aback by the sudden and slightly dramatic entrance of a brunette into the elevator, but then smiled. It was always a great opportunity to meet new people, especially in the Capitol. Aphie looked the girl over while the elevator doors closed and she pressed the button for the floor she wanted. She looked like she was on her way to the beach, not the streets or social gatherings of the city! How interesting!
the girl then gasped and her attention was fully fixed on the brunette again. The vain side of her took one of the reins and she smiled, though she kept it small to appear humble. "Oh, god, really? I haven't ever met a fan of my work! Thank you so much!" she said, well, almost squealed--caffiene, can't control the side-effects!--and smiled wider at her when she announced that she was the new stylist at this year's Hunger Games.
"you're such a tiny little thing! Oh, so precious! You are going to be absolutely fabulous, I can already tell!" her voice went sing-songy, "Just pray your tributes aren't strong-willed, though, they won't even let you do anything to their eyebrows! It happened to me my first Games. Those two were such troubles to me!" Aphie confided softly. "I'm not even halfway started on my opening ceremonies costumes, can you believe it?! I'm so behind!"
she tossed her hair again and smiled pleasantly at the new stylist. Yup, she was a talker. Aphrodite at times had gagged herself with a scrap of fabric so she wouldn't get too carried away with herself.words;; not sure outfit;; in the works tag;; OPEN listening to;; shooting the moon by ok go notes;;

"Your most certainly welcome! I thought your tributes were the better looking ones out of all those other tributes," Calypso was actually pretty happy that Aphrodite hadn't acted all stuck up and everything. She automatically felt a bit better, seeing as how nice Aphrodite was being. They never interviewed the stylists during the games, so it was nice to actually meet one in person, heck maybe she could get some pointeres from her! That'd be wonderful!
"I just hope I find out what District I'm stylin for soon! I had to buy a bunch of fabric," she motioned towards her bags, "I have so much I felt like my arms were gonna fall off! I've already started planning out what a bunch of my outfits are gonna look like! Hopefully they look better on the tributes then on the paper!" Calypso laughed a little, she really had to start working on her outfits, but how could she when she had no clue where her tribute was going to be from?
notes: bah, it's short. i fail
