Matthias woke up, yawned, stretched and got out of bed, all in one fluent motion. When he looked outside, he calculated it was somewhere around noonish.
Nearly leaping out of his skin, Matthias ran over to his dresser, and began to dress. It was around noon. He was at least 3 hours late, if not more. He was meant to be at his friends house to hang out that day. Normally they would go hunting, but they had done that often enough, today, they planned on doing something else. Something new, something exciting. The only problem was, they didn't know exactly what they were going to do quite yet.
Dashing to the run down fridge, Matthias grabbed something to eat and bolted out the door. Matthias looked down at his hands to see what he had grabbed and it looked as if it was yogurt. Yes, it was strawberry banana yogurt. His mothers, but she probably wouldn't care, besides, she didn't eat it much anyways, even if it was hard to come by.
Looking around to see if anyone else was in his midst, Matthias began to search his pockets for a spoon, that he knew he wouldn't have. Coming to no avail, Matthias simply peeled the top of the yogurt off, and tipped it upside down towards his mouth, squeezing the small container to make it come out quicker, and more as a whole.
-Plop- The yogurt plopped right into his mouth, and he gulped it down. This breakfast had barely filled him, but that didn't matter much, he usually didn't eat breakfast anyways. But, seeing as he didn't get any supper the night before, he was famished, and was prepared to eat practically anything. Then again, he really didn't need to eat anything, he could have for the most part anything he wanted, his family was in the Victors Village, and that made them well supplied with money and food.
Taking a turn on a corner from the Victors Village that led into the Hunter's housing, Matthias glided down the streets until he was right in front of his friend's house. Who would obviously be waiting for him by now. They were most likely getting impatient too....Pity, Matthias didn't need another impatient person like himself in his life, but none - the - less, it was inevitable.
Walking up to the door, Matthias knocked three quick knocks, two short ones, and then one pounding knock.
Waiting for his friend to come to the secret knocking, Matthias sat down in a chair beside the door, and examined his finger nails as if he had nothing better in his life to do.
